RF Coaxial Cable Damage Due to Improper Handling

5.  RF Cable Damage Due to Improper Handling

RF Coaxial cable damaged due to improper handling resulting in 1.7db loss in cable. Cable was pulled too tight around support bracket resulting in indentation in dielectric under outer jacket and cold flow of jacket where minimum bend radius was exceeded.

14. Route and support harnesses and cables so that they are protected from abrasion, cold flow, cut through, vibration, chafing, flexing, and sharp edges. Bend Radii for Completed Interconnecting Cable or Harness Individual coaxial cable, Optimum Bend Radius (10x OD), Minimum Bend Radius (6x OD).
