Information Portal for Plastic Encapsulated Microcircuits for Space

Welcome to the PEMs Portal where the documents related to the use of Plastic Encapsulated Microcircuits in NASA programs and projects are gathered.  The quality and reliability of PEMs have been steadily improving as more test data have become available.  The debate concerning the use of PEMs in space applications has been the subject of many papers and presentations over the past decade.  Many of these relevant documents are available here to support the work of the component engineers, design engineers, reliability engineers and project engineers.
