Description:

Abstract:
This task will provide information on parts characterization, guidance on usage, implementation and lessons learned information to the application engineer in the area of fiber optics and photonics devices. Application information will be tailored for the usage and design of flight systems to maximize the development of such systems in a reliable fashion. All information gathered from NEPP tasks as well as other flight projects including ELC, LRO, ISS, MSL, and IRAD work will be used towards this goal of providing useful and practical guidance for flight fiber optic and photonics subsystem hardware builds.
