Description:
Task Plan - 04-013 Extreme Environments: Cold/Hot Temperature Reliability

Abstract:
Design guidance will be developed for   conventional leaded and newly available packages as well as bare die for use in extreme cold environment.  Results will be compared to conventional thermal environmental regime through leveraging test vehicles built by JPL-lead consortium and those funded by Mars project under TCRE (thermal cycling resistance electronics).  When additional fund become available, long-time cold reliability requirements will be also addressed. GRC teams will address both cold & hot and
GSFC radiation aspects.
