1) These parts are suitable for Level 2 applications.  However, they may be used in Level 1 applications if they meet the Class S requirements of MIL-STD-981.

2) Parts covered by this specification may contain internal soldered connections that may reflow during installation.  Special care must be exercised whe soldering to prevent internal solder reflow.
