Revision History for MIL-PRF-55342 Listing in the NPSL

01/28/10

Revised the part descriptions to reflect power rating changes that occurred in 2007 for a number of slash sheets.  Power rating changes were fully coordinated by DSCC which included a complete requalification by the suppliers to the revised power (and voltage) rating levels.

02/06/06

Added sections for RM0302, RM0402, RM0502 and RM0603 chip resistors per MIL-PRF-55342/13, /11, /12 and /1 respectively.  Added application note to explain why these smaller chip sizes are being added to NPSL as Level 2 for parts having "R" or "S" failure rate levels and Level 1 for the "T" level product.

Updated all parts listings to reflect current QPL status/availability

06/27/01

Added section for RM1005 (per M55342/3)

Improved application note regarding ESD sensitivity per MIL-PRF-55342 notes

09/15/98
Added Space Level ("T" Level) parts to the selection table since State of the Art has qualified.
07/27/98
Added application note warning that thin film resistor types are electrostatic sensitive (ESD).
04/29/98
Made corrections to the part listings for the 100 kohm to 1 Mohm decade range.  This range of values inadvertently was listed with the same part numbers as used by the 10 kohm to 100 kohm range.

Also found that the 1 Mohm part number listing for some styles was not incorrectly used the "E" multiplier
(x 1000) in the part number instead of "F" (x 1,000,000).

03/02/98
Added dimensional drawings to this section

Added application notes 3, 4, 5 and 6

11/28/97
Made changes indicating the specification conversion to a performance specification (MIL-PRF-55342 instead of MIL-R-55342)
10/14/97
Initial Release of MIL-R-55342 Section in the NPSL
